Consider the definition of of IT you have provided. How is this form of technology prevalent in our society? How common place has it become?
Very common place. Nowadays, technology is always changing and we have to adapt to the changes regularly. We need to keep up with the changes as using this technology is unavoidable. Information technology is vital within schoolwork and employment/work etc.
What It devices or systems do you feel comfortable and competent using?
Cell phones, computers, lap tops, twitter, televisions, word processors, ipod, GPS, wikipedia, cameras, MP3, playstation, Wii, Blue ray, bluetooth, dvd, facebook, google.
Thinking about your own fieldwork experiences, consider how IT has been in Occupational Therapy practice.
